Collective bargaining, a cornerstone of industrial relations – in both theoretical and practical dimension – faces an uncertain future. For many years collective bargaining have been undergoing a decentralization in Europe. More recently, due to fragmentation and individualization of work and employment relations, extent of collective bargaining and incidence as well as coverage of collective agreements have been shrinking. Impact of post-2008 crises has also been negative. Meanwhile, transnational developments in collective bargaining could be observed with the rise Transnational Company Agreements (TCA). Contributions are welcomed regarding such issues as collective agreements at all levels, trends in collective bargaining, supranational collective bargaining.
